York Pullman named 'Large Coach Operator of the Year 2015'
York Pullman Bus Company Ltd has been named ‘Large Coach Operator of the Year’ in the prestigious Operator Excellence Awards organised by the leading trade magazine RouteOne. Beating off stiff competition from other long established business from all over the Country, the judges said ‘Developing strong brands based on family traditions and values has seen our winner emerge from modest beginnings to become a large and highly-respected operator. It puts partnership working with key clients into practice and ensures that it consistently delivers what its customers want, when they want it, in a reliable, friendly and profitable way’.
Tom James Managing Director of York Pullman, said ‘ This award is the culmination of a great deal of hard work, effort and determination by all the staff working here and we are pleased that what is already recognized by our customers and partners is confirmed by our peers within the coach industry’.
The award was presented by Steph McGovern from BBC Breakfast and Impressionist Jon Culshaw at a glittering awards ceremony in Birmingham.
One of the key partnerships is the 30 vehicle contract operating home to school journeys on behalf of the City of York Council, which was also shortlisted for an award in the same completion.
