Service 36 – Sutton On Derwent – York EMERGENCY BRIDGE CLOSURE - ELVINGTON

As a result of the emergency bridge closure, the service will terminate at Elvington Village Hall.

Arrangements for the Saturday service are in progress.

GILLYGATE ROAD CLOSURE – SERVICE DIVERSION

Location: Gillygate York City Centre

Cause: Gas main replacement

Who is responsible: Northern Gas Networks

Duration: 6 weeks

DescriptionGillygate will be closed completely for a period of six weeks from Monday 22nd February 2010. The Service 55 will be required to divert as follows

TOWARDS CITY CENTRE FROM CLARENCE STREET: After Clarence Street, via Lord Mayors Walk, Monkgate, Foss Bank, Peasholme Green, Stonebow, Pavement, Coppergate, Low Ousegate, Bridge Street, George Hudson Street, Rougier Street, Station Road, Station Avenue, Rougier Street, the as normal route.

FROM CITY CENTRE: The bus will divert after Station Avenue via Rougier Street, George Hudson Street, Bridge Street, Low Ousegate, Coppergate, Pavement, The Stonebow, Peasholme Green, St Maurice's Road Lord Mayor's Walk and back on route at Clarence Street

MINOR TIMETABLE CHANGE DURING GILLYGATE ROADWORKS

Customers please be advised as from 22nd February 2010 during the period of these roadworks, the 0700 from University will now leave at 0645 and run 15 minutes early throughout this journey.
