York Pullman Bus Company Local Bus Services Conditions of Travel:

Tickets:

Tickets may be purchased on the bus or on the MyTrip app* with payments being made by cash and card^. Child Fares are available for children aged 5-15 (proof of age may be required to purchase a child ticket). Student tickets are valid on services for 16-18 year olds, proof of age may be required to be eligible to purchase the tickets.

Food, Drink and Smoking:

Hot Food and Ice Cream are not to be consumed on our vehicles at any time. Hot Drinks may be consumed on the vehicle providing that they are in a sealed, non-spill container.

Smoking including the use of e-cigarettes is not permitted on any of our buses.

Concessions Travel Pass Holders:

Concessioniary travel passes are valid for use on all local bus services after 0900hrs on Mondays-Fridays, with the exception of Blind Concessionary users who may use their pass prior to 0900hrs. Any concessionary travel pass holder wishing to use our services before 0900hrs may pay a £1.30 standard fare. Concessionary passes may be used at any time on Saturdays and Sundays.

Dogs:

Registered assistance dogs are welcome on all of our services. Other well behaved dogs are allowed on the vehicle at the driver’s discretion and should not sit on a seat.

Accessibility:

All vehicles on local bus services and school services are PSVAR compliant, which means that wheelchair users can be carried on board our vehicles. Pushchairs are also allowed on the vehicles but may need to be folded up for safety reasons or or to ensure that a wheelchair user can board the bus and be safely secured for travel on the service. Mobility scooters may not fit on the vehicle so if you are planning a journey and wish to take your mobility scooter with you on the service please ring our office on 01904 622 992 prior to commencing your journey to enquire whether or not you will be able to safely access the service.

Any form of busive or anti-social behaviour towards staff and other bus users will not be tolerated. We will not hesitate to report such incidents to the relevant authority or to the Police.
