The Minster FM Local Hero Awards 2018

Tom and his team at York Pullman were very proud to be asked to attend the annual Minster FM Local Hero Awards this month as the official sponsors of the Teacher of the Year Award category.

The very worthy winner of the award was Barry Cornforth who works with children at Joseph Rowntree School in York.

Headteacher Richard Crane, welcomed the award saying “I’m so pleased that Barry has been recognised for the amazing work that he and the team in Wiltshire Cluster do for the students. Whether it’s working in lessons to help the students to achieve their potential or the work that Barry and the staff in Wiltshire do with the students in extracurricular activities, he is an inspiration to us all.”

Barry received his award from our MD Tom James, and enjoyed a fabulous evening of dining, fun and entertainment along with Keigan who nominated Barry for the award.
