York Pullman – Investing in the Future of Vehicle Maintenance
Apprenticeships with York Pullman – Investing in the future of our workforce
As an accredited member of the DVSA’s ‘Earned Recognition’ scheme, York Pullman recognises the importance of upholding only the very highest standards when it comes to the safety and the maintenance of it’s extensive fleet. One such way that we achieve this is by training all of our engineers to work with the latest systems of maintenance and inspection of vehicles in our superbly equipped, modern workshops.
We recognise that our maintenance staff are one of the key elements of daily road safety and to this end we are always actively seeking to train new, grass roots expertise. Working closely with S & B Academy in Bristol we select only the best candidates for enrollment onto their professional Engineer Training Schemes before investing heavily in their training over a period of three years.
We are delighted to announce that this week sees the culmination of three years of dedication and hard work for one of our Engineering apprentices, Cayo, who has successfully completed his Level 3 Bus and Coach Engineer qualification with flying colours.
From challenging practical and written examinations to hands-on training working with experienced colleagues, Cayo’s journey exemplifies perseverance and skill. A huge shout out to him for this achievement and we are delighted to welcome him to our highly skilled workforce! Cayo will now continue his journey with York Pullman to further his skill set by working closely with colleagues and undergoing other, relevant new training along the way.
