We’re proudly supporting the Sean Coxhead Fun Run this March!
A TERMINALLY-ill father has organised a fun run to boost a charity that has helped his family over the past year.
Sean Coxhead, 37, from York, was given a year to live last May after being diagnosed with the terminal condition, however that hasn’t stopped him and several other parents from St. Pauls Primary School in York from organising ‘The Sean Coxhead Fun Run’ to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, a service which Sean said has been “invaluable”.
So when we were approached by St Pauls Primary School us to ask if we could help in any way with the event we were only too pleased to get on board, providing a new Euro-6, 72 seater coach to transport the smallest children down to the site of the run at the York RI sports ground, completely free of charge.
The fun run, which has been organised with parents and teachers of St Paul’s school, will take place on Tuesday the 12th of March and will see pupils from the school dressing up as their favourite heroes and competing in a variety of races.
