Semi-skilled/part-skilled commercial vehicle technician – York

PCV [Bus] Commercial Vehicle Technician  

York Pullman Bus Company Ltd is seeking a semi-skilled vehicle/commercial Vehicle Technician.  

This role is full time (min) 40 regular hours per week [no shifts] working Monday to Friday with possibility of occasional Saturday hours and a one weekend in four on call.

Based in our modern, well equipped workshops in Rufforth, York, the successful applicant will have a working background in vehiicle engineering and maintenance in a garage/workshop environment. This may or may not include large commercial vehicles and may be mainly light vehcles, such as cars or vans.

The role will include assisting our qualified engineering staff with all aspects of heavy vehicle maintenance and planned maintenance inspections.

A meticulous attention to detail in all areas is absolutely essential, including a willingness to understake new task and to learn new skills.
