We’re recruiting for a new full-time members of staff to join us as drivers in the York and surrounding area.
Working from one of our local depots duties will include;
– driving private clients on coach hire journeys throughout Yorkshire and the UK
– driving pupils to schools and colleges in York in the morning and returning them home each evening.
We operate one the very best fleets of modern coaches and provide uniform and full training on all routes and procedures from the start, including a thorough and comprehensive induction process to ensure that you can be the very best! As a member of the prestigious Guild of British Coach Operators we are market leaders in delivering the highest quality services, together with the reassurance of working for the area’s leading family owned coach operator, meaning that you are valued and recognised in the workplace and not just ‘a number’.
With great job security comes a great remuneration package, hourly rates starting at £13.00 a typical driver in our team will earn a guaranteed minimum in excess of £27,000 pa for basic hours with additional hours always available to increase this earning potential SIGNIFICANTLY up to £34,000.00 pa.
You will need to have a full category-D (PCV) driving licence and be able to successfully complete a detailed DBS Criminal Records check upon commencement of application process, and a valid DQC (Driver Qualification Card/’CPC card’) will also be required. If your DQC card has lapsed the Company will provide you with access to immediate training to allow you to renew your card ready to work again, free of charge!
