**IMPORTANT UPDATE TO HOME TO SCHOOL TRANSPORT PASSES**

We are introducing a new QR Code system to replace printed bus passes

What’s changing?

We are moving from printed bus passes to a secure QR code system

Why the Change?

Faster and safer boarding, less chance of lost/damaged passes, more environmentally friendly and easily updated and reissued. Parents/Guardians can also opt in for boarding notifications.

How it works:

Each student will receive a unique QR Code via their parent/guardians email. This QR code must be scanned when boarding the school bus. The QR code links directly to the students approved travel plan

What if I Don’t Have a Smartphone?

You can use any phone that is able to show the QR code or simply print off the QR code to use.

 

If You Are Eligable for free transport but haven’t yet received your QR Code:

Don’t worry – your seat on your current service is still reserved.

We just need your email address and telephone number so we can send you your QR code. Please complete the form here.

After submitting, you’ll receive an automated message stating that you are on a “waiting list.” Please ignore this wording – it’s a system-generated message we can’t change. Rest assured, your seat is secure and your QR code will be sent to you shortly

 

If You Purchase a Pass from York Pullman Bus Company:

Applications are now open.

On the application form, please select “Not eligible for free transport” and choose the bus service you wish to apply for. You will then be redirected to Shuttle ID, our third-party provider, to complete your ticket purchase.

For information on obtaining a pass for travel on a route please see the details shown on each timetable.

Applications for travel on services for pupils who are not eligible for FREE TRAVEL from the Local Authority are now being accepted.

Any pupil who has lost their pass can obtain a replacement from York Pullman on 01904 622992.  The cost is £5 per pass and can be paid by credit/debit card over the phone.
